1. Who can access the Memories service?

The Memories online memorial service is available to AVBOB Funeral Service customers, as well as the friends and family that they have invited to participate.

2. Who can see the content of my loved one’s memorial and life story?

The messages, photographs and life story are only visible to the family and friends included in the specific memorial. The content is not visible to any other user of the Memories service.

3. How do I get help with setting up the online memorial?

There are video tutorials available to help you with how to navigate the online memorial service. To access these click on the Video Tutorial icon in the top menu. If the tutorial videos don’t answer your questions, please click on Contact Us and send the Memories team a message.

4. What if I invited someone to contribute and I captured the wrong cell number?

Go to the APPROVE PEOPLE page and update the person to REJECTED. Then go to INVITE PEOPLE and add them again with the correct cellphone number.

5. How can I ensure that nothing inappropriate is uploaded to my loved one’s life story?

All messages and photographs uploaded by friends and family is not immediately included in the online memorial. Only when the coordinator(s) accept content will it be included.

6. How do I change my name?

To edit your name and surname, click on your name at the top right corner of the screen where it says Welcome… You can then edit your name, surname and email address.
